Cut-resistant everyday apparel

Protection you can wear.

unstabbable is building certified cut-resistant apparel for people who face risk at work. Engineered with proven high-performance fibers, worn like an ordinary t-shirt.

We are in the concept phase and looking for the right fabric and manufacturing partners.

01 — Product

Protection that disappears into everyday wear.

Security staff, paramedics, transport and delivery workers, outreach teams: millions of people face blade-related risk at work. Today their options are a visible stab-protection vest or nothing at all. unstabbable is designed to close that gap: a cut-resistant shirt that looks and feels like a premium basic.

The layer concept

A

Outer knit

Abrasion-resistant cotton-blend face with the look and drape of a heavyweight premium t-shirt.

B

Protective core

High-performance fiber blend (UHMWPE / para-aramid) engineered to resist cuts and slashes across the torso's critical zones.

C

Comfort layer

Moisture-wicking skin-side knit that keeps the protective core imperceptible through a full shift.

02 — Materials

We build on proven fibers, not marketing claims.

We are evaluating cut-resistant knit constructions based on ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and para-aramid blends. Fiber systems with a documented track record in gloves and protective equipment, re-engineered for full-garment comfort.

03 — Standards & certification

High quality standards. Certified products only.

“Unstabbable” is a promise we intend to prove, not just print. Every product will be tested against recognized European standards by accredited third-party laboratories before it carries our name.

Reference standards

  • EN 388:2016+A1:2018

The European benchmark for protection against mechanical risks — our reference framework for cut and abrasion performance.

  • ISO 13997 (TDM test)

Determines cut resistance in newtons with a straight blade. The decisive test for realistic slash protection. Our target: Level C (≥ 10 N) or higher.

  • OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

Every component is tested for harmful substances. Non-negotiable for our quality standards.

unstabbable products are cut-protection apparel, not certified stab-proof body armor (VPAM / HOSDB). We communicate protection levels precisely.

Certification roadmap

  1. Current phase01

    Material selection

Screening cut-resistant knits with suppliers; verifying test data and technical documentation.

  2. 02

    Prototyping

First garment prototypes with selected manufacturing partners; supervised wear trials.

  3. 03

    Accredited testing

Third-party testing of the final construction: ISO 13997 cut resistance and wash-cycle durability.

  4. 04

    Pilot production

Certified small series; launch in the DACH region, then international rollout.

04 — Company

Our mission: protection for the people who keep everyday life running.

unstabbable was founded on a simple observation: the people most exposed to violence at work — in security, transport, delivery, care and social services — are the least protected. We want to change the default: protection people actually wear, because it doesn't ask them to look armored.
